ALCOHOLS:
Cesium pentacarbonylvanadate (Cs3[V(CO)5]) reacts explosively with alcohols (Ellis, J. F. et al., J. Amer. Chem. Soc., 1981, 103, 6101).
ETHERS:
Solutions of molybdenum hexacarbonyl in diethylether can explode after standing in air for an extended period. Chromium hexacarbonyl in diethylether may behave the same way (Owen, B. B. et al, Inorg. Synth. 1950, 3, 158).
