Sharing Info

CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ has several options if you want to share the information you have gathered during your session with others—or even just to share a copy with yourself for later reference.

Printing Reports

The type of report you can print depends on the page you're on and the number of substances in the My365betÓéÀÖ Collection.  There are three options:

  • Printing Reports from any DatasheetPrinting Reports from any Datasheet
    1. Search for a substance of interest. How do I search for a chemical?
    2. Find the substance's abstractThe identifying datasheet information (such as chemical name, UN/NA number, key characteristics, and synonyms) shown within a color-coded box on the Search Results page. The colors indicate the type of datasheet: chemical datasheets are in gray boxes, UN/NA datasheets are in orange boxes, and reactive group datasheets are in brown boxes. in the Search Results list.
    3. At the bottom of the abstract, click View Datasheet.
    4. At the top of the datasheet, click Print Friendly Page to see a preview of the report.

Click 'Print Friendly Page' in the upper right corner of any datasheet to see a preview of the datasheet report.
    5. Choose Print from your browser's menu (in the online formats), use the Print icon (in the desktop format), or click on the Print link in the upper right corner of the preview page (in any of those formats).
  • Printing Reports from the My365betÓéÀÖ PagePrinting Reports from the My365betÓéÀÖ Page

    1. In the sidebar, click View My365betÓéÀÖ.
    2. Click Print Report on the My365betÓéÀÖ page.
    3. If you have multiple substances in the collection, choose which sections you want to include in the report:
      • Cover Page: Brief summary of the contents of the report.
      • Reactivity Predictions: List of substances in the mix and the summary of the reactivity hazard predictions for the mix (as well as for each pair of substances).
      • Datasheets: Text from the datasheets for all substances in the My365betÓéÀÖ collection. (You can choose which chemical datasheet sections to include.)
    4. Click Preview Report to go to a print friendly version of the page.
    5. Choose Print from your browser's menu (in the online formats), use the Print icon (in the desktop format), or click on the Print link in the upper right corner of the preview page (in any of those formats). Note: This may be a long report, especially if you have multiple chemical datasheets and have chosen to include the alternate chemical names.
Tip: If you want to print a single datasheet from the collection, click on the name of any substance in the My365betÓéÀÖ collection to go to its datasheet and follow the datasheet printing instructions above.
  • Printing Reports from the Chemical Reactivity PagePrinting Reports from the Chemical Reactivity Page
Note: You must have at least two substances in the My365betÓéÀÖ collection to use this print option.
    1. In the sidebar, click Predict Reactivity.
    2. Click Print Report on the Chemical Reactivity page.

Click the 'Print Report' button in the upper right corner of the Chemical Reactivity page.

Note: This may be a long report, especially if you have multiple chemical datasheets and have chosen to include the alternate chemical names.
Note: If you're printing a UN/NA datasheet, the Response Guide from the Emergency Response Guidebook isn't included. To print the response guide, you must go to the UN/NA datasheet and click on the Response Guide link to go to a separate PDF document that you can print or save. Similarly, if you're printing a chemical datasheet that has a link to a PDF with information from the CHRIS manual, you will need to print the CHRIS PDF separately.

Saving Reports as a PDF

The website and desktop formats of CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ don't offer a way to save a report as an electronic file in the program itself, but you can save a report by printing it to a PDF file.

The instructions below are for Windows, and they require that you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. Mac users can simply use the Save as PDF option available on their computer print dialog.

Tip: You can also copy and paste content from the Preview Report view to a word processing program such as Microsoft Word.
  1. Follow the regular printing instructions above to go to the print friendly view of the report that you're interested in saving.
  2. Choose Print from your browser's menu (in the online formats), use the Print icon (in the desktop format), or click on the Print link in the upper right corner of the preview page (in any of those formats).
  3. Choose Adobe PDF as your printer, and change any other print settings as needed. Click OK.
  4. Select a name for your report and browse to the location where you want to save it. Click Save.

Exporting the Compatibility Chart

°Õ³ó±ðÌýCompatibility Chart shows a summary of the reactivity predictions for the substances in the My365betÓéÀÖ collection.

If you want to save a copy of the chart or share it with someone else, try printing the page or taking a screenshot. In some cases, you may also be able to copy and paste from the reactivity page into a different program (such as Microsoft Word).

The website and desktop formats of CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ do allow you to export the Compatibility Chart as a CSV file that can be opened in a spreadsheet program (such as Microsoft Excel). This will allow you to adjust the formatting in the chart as needed, which can be helpful for larger collections. However, be aware that the export feature provides tables of the underlying data using codes and splitting predictions into individual sets—so the exported file does not look the same as the chart in the program where the data has been consolidated and formatted for easy use.

Steps for exporting the chartSteps for exporting the chart

  1. Click Export Chart on the reactivity predictions page to save your Compatibility Chart to your computer's hard drive as a CSV file.

Click the 'Export Chart' button to save the chart as a CSV file.
  2. Choose a file name and save it your computer.
  3. Open the chart in a spreadsheet program, format it as you like, and save and/or print it.
Tip: If your goal is to be able to easily view the chart again in the future, try saving the My365betÓéÀÖ collection instead. You'll be able to import that text file into CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ to quickly re-create your collection and also the same Compatibility Chart.
