Hazmat Table (49 CFR 172.101)
The Hazardous Materials ("Hazmat") Table lists substances "designated as hazardous materials for purposes of transportation and prescribes the requirements for shipping papers, package marking, labeling, and transport vehicle placarding applicable to the shipment and transportation of those hazardous materials".
Hazmat Table Info on UN/NA Datasheets
Several pieces of Hazmat Table information are displayed on UN/NA datasheets in CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ:
- Proper shipping names .
- Hazard classes and divisions.
- Label information. Descriptive text for each label code is shown below the table, along with representative placards.
- If applicable, a note indicating that the shipping information is specifically for domestic (U.S.) or international shipping.
- If applicable, a note indicating that the proper shipping name must include one or more technical names of the hazardous material in parentheses.
- If applicable, a note indicating that the material is a listed as an inhalation hazard (or potential hazard) in the Special Provisions column of the Hazmat Table. Instructions regarding special provisions are covered in 49 CFR 172.102.
