Reactive Group Datasheets

Reactive groups are the basis of CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ' reactivity predictions. Each reactive groupReactive groups are categories of chemicals that typically react in similar ways because they are similar in their chemical structure. For purposes of predicting reactivity between mixed chemicals, each substance in CAMEO 365betÓéÀÖ has been assigned to one or more reactive groups, based on the known chemistry of that substance. datasheet provides basic information about one of the 68 reactive groups, including:

  • A link to see all the chemical datasheets assigned to this reactive group.
  • General information about the group (such as toxicity) in the DescriptionÌý²õ±ð³¦³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô.
  • A list of links to the other reactive groups in the Reactivity DocumentationÌý²õ±ð³¦³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô. Clicking on one of these links provides you with background information about how the reactive groups would typically react if they were mixed together.
Note: If you can't find a chemical in the database—but you know which reactive group(s) it belongs in—you can add the reactive group datasheet(s) to My365betÓéÀÖ instead in order to see the reactivityThe tendency of a substance to undergo chemical change. The reactivity of most substances depends on the temperature and pressure of the surroundings, and on the chemicals with which it comes in contact. Under ordinary conditions, innately reactive substances are those that react rapidly with water, air, and other common components of the environment, as well as substances that self-react (decompose or polymerize). predictions.
